Picture
Here is the task:

What does it mean to be "grown up?"
After reading and researching literary and informational texts on growing up, create a digital presentation in which you argue whether "growing up" is caused by age, external events, or personal choices. Support your position with evidence from the texts.

Step One

Let me learn more about you. Send me an e-mail (kenny.mckee@bcsemail.org) where you answer these questions.

  1. Tell me about yourself (hobbies, interests, family, etc.)
  2. Rate yourself as a reader between (1 and 5). Why did you give yourself that rating?
  3. What do you believe is your best gift to offer the world?
  4. Share any questions you have for me or anything else you want me to know about you (optional).

Step Two

Check out the rubric that we will use to evaluate your presentation. Let's discuss any questions.
